2011 Femmewalla Championship – 3rd Place
Unlike a lot of other racers, motorcycles doesn’t run in my blood. Sure, my dad has ridden motorcycles off and on since before I was born, but it was never a passion or way of life for him. Me, I had wanted to ride a motorcycle ever since I started noticing girls on bikes in high school. Every time one would ride by, I’d think “I want to be THAT girl”. I earned my motorcycle endorsement in November 2006 after taking the MSF Basic Rider’s Course. I didn’t get on a bike consistently, though, until I bought my 2008 CBR600RR and I was absolutely hooked. I got got my first taste of track riding in July 2009 and have been riding at local track days ever since. After being involved in a few different women’s riding groups and not getting what I wanted out of them, I decided to start my own women’s riding organization, called “GirlClutch.” It has been an incredibly rewarding experience to meet and ride with girls all over Southern California. Motorcycles and riding has become a passion for me, and a major part of my life.I obtained my amateur road racing license in May 2011,and made my racing debut at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in September 2011, placing second in the Femmewalla class.
